The design of Bellows is divided into the dimensional type design considering functional forms of products and the verification about pressure load & variation load. Our company has the design procedure of Bellows type Expansion Joint set in the EJMA, ASME B31.1 & ASME section VIII Div1 appendix26 Kellog logic, and are designing Flange & flue type Expansion Joint with TEMA, ASME section VIII Div2 appendix CC. And We are making a design reflecting "requirements of security and design" laid down in ASME section III in order to design Expansion Joint related with the security from the main facility in the nuclear power plant. The Resultant stress and cycle life is being computed with "Finite Element Method" for Specialized material & convolution Shape which is against the applied criteria of EJMA, ASME, Kellog. The information system, where designers' accumulated technology, sales, design, material, and production are linked together, became the basis of fixed quality maintenance in each product, and a variety of product designs with experience of our company are conducted with accumulated computerized database.


The engineering service coverage by our company is not limited to only Expansion Joint design. All kinds of piping systems in industrial production facility are operated based on load condition , and this design should be verified by the method of analysis. Our company keeps Analysis Program for piping analysis, and suggests technological solution in regard to the unusual situation created during the operation as well as piping analysis in design process. Through the method of analysis, we evaluate the operation of the system, propose the optimum specification of Bellows working effectively for this, and are supplying overall engineering service through system design , including products.

The stability of Expansion Joint working and installed in a machine or a plant is to be secured prior to any kind of element. Especially in aging facilities, early replacement depending on unusual signs during the operation is very helpful to the security of a plant and the life assurance of plant. Our company carried out the work successfully to reinforce the old facilities- while operating them-which were installed in a large scale of Steel Mills inside and outside the nation, and is keeping track of engineering know-how.
